Motel Drive came to life in 2008 and tore off screaming like a crazed Chevy Bel Air on a hot July night in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. Comprised of five longtime friends and musicians, their songs are a mix of rock-n-roll, roots rock, and Americana with influences ranging from old-school country, to punk and singer-songwriter stylings.

Motel Drive has released three albums and been featured on several album compilations, including Straight Razor Records' Rebels of Rock 'N Roll Volume II, Sound N Vision Foundation's Hope Vol. 3—supporting suicide prevention—and the Los Hooligans Tribute to Rancid compilation album. The quartet has taken their electricity-filled live show to venues up and down the long state of California and played festivals in Arizona, SXSW in Texas, and Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, MO. They've proven themselves a sight to see time and time again—even winning the 2012 Fan's Choice Award at Chuckchansi Gold Casino's Rock at the Top battle and winning an opening slot for HANSON's 2010 "Shout It Out" tour in San Francisco.

Let the seasoned blend of veteran musicianship of Motel Drive carry you to that lone bar on the edge of town—that bar mama told you to stay away from—where Gretsch guitars wail and voodoo drums pound the night away. It's blood, love, and beer; the smell and taste of the Motel Drive stew. One hell of a night and your new favorite band.
